Yet Another Zombie Survivors Torments Guide

Torments are optional challenges in Achievements → Hall of Torments; you do not need them for 100% Steam achievements. For Power Leveling, use the updated level 60 goal from 1.0.1 rather than an older level 100 instruction. Start with the exact challenge text before building your squad.

Pick the right completion goal

For normal achievements, use the 229-entry achievement directory and local tracker. For optional Torments, open Hall of Torments and read the selected objective, arena and mode.

The official release added 28 Torments and separates them from achievement completion. That means an unfinished Torment is not a reason your ordinary Steam checklist remains incomplete.

Two version checks that prevent wasted attempts

• Power Leveling: 1.0.1 lowers the target to level 60. Plan for that milestone instead of sustaining a run solely to reach the former target.
• Survivor Crossing: 1.0.0c fixes the maximum Team Bond total, which had made this Torment unobtainable. Team Bond is the shared Cash/Specialization reward from missions, so check mission progress instead of treating this as a combat DPS problem.

Turn an objective into a run plan

1. Record the selected challenge's full condition, including its mode and arena.
2. Pick a squad suited to that condition. Use the beginner squad for a starting route, not as an automatic answer to every restriction.
3. Decide which upgrades support the condition and which detours risk it. A survival goal and a ten-minute Boss Rush deadline call for different spending.
4. Save the trio and goal in the Squad Builder.
5. After the attempt, change the decision that caused failure while keeping the challenge and difficulty fixed.
