What the Database Finder searches
Database Finder is a quick browser search for game pages. Search a displayed name, an alias, or a category to move from a remembered game term to the page you need. It helps you find information; it does not turn an incomplete page into a confirmed gameplay answer.
Use the exact in-game name where possible. If a page says that more tips are still coming, check the current in-game text before relying on an effect or mechanic. The finder gets you there quickly, while the page explains how much you can use right now.
Search by the clue you actually have
Start with a Survivor, arena, ability, item, mission, or update name. Aliases help when you remember a phrase rather than the displayed name, and categories narrow results when the same term could mean different things. Once you open a result, check its version note and linked official update if the detail matters to your run.
This is especially useful after Version 1.0, which added Ranger, Bio Lab, Boss Rush, missions, Rank 5, Synergies, Torments, items, and achievements. Search lets you move between related pages without digging through every category first.
Check the page label before you rely on it
Page labels tell you whether you are reading official game information, an in-game check, player advice, or a page that is still being expanded. An official patch can confirm that something changed without explaining every current effect. Read the label before treating a search result as a full answer.
For example, Version 1.0.0b confirms the timing order of Cooling Mods and an audio-frequency change for Good Boy and Falcon. It does not provide a universal build score. The finder can take you to those pages, where you can see exactly what the update does and does not say.
Why a shared search link may look different
Search links are handy for a moment, but the full page for a Survivor, weapon, or map is the better link to save or share. Open the result itself when you want the latest version note, related guides, and the official update link in one place.
If search returns no result, check the current spelling or browse the matching category. A new page may simply be waiting for enough current information to be useful, rather than being hidden behind a different search term.
A reliable lookup routine
Search the name or alias, open the page, read its label and version, then follow the official link if the detail matters to your run. If a page is still being expanded, use the information that is there and check the live game for anything missing.
The finder is not a replacement for patch notes or live tooltips. Its job is simple: take one remembered term and point you to the right page, where you can decide what to use for your next run.
